Session Details
Cleaning Up After Microsoft 365
Date : Tuesday, May 23
Time : 10:30–11:30 AM CDT
Description :

Microsoft’s M365 may be the de facto standard for collaboration and messaging for enterprises, but its governance roadmap is still oriented around the end-user or department. By contrast, corporate governance needs are typically enterprise-wide and need to be applied simultaneously across governance obligations, such as e-discovery, compliance, records and privacy.

This session will describe a holistic approach proven at large enterprises to clean up and fill in the governance gaps within M365, while leveraging its biggest strengths. In this session, you will learn:

  • How to clean up data in Microsoft 365 using defensible deletion and retention at scale
  • How to supplement the gaps in Microsoft’s RIM capabilities with “in-place” management
  • How to elevate the strategic role of RIM in the organization, by enabling it for AI and governance obligations
