VP of Sales

ZL Tech is seeking an experienced sales leader to join our growing company’s leadership team as VP of Sales. This person will lead, inspire, and grow our existing large-enterprise sales teams, with a view to substantially increasing revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Define sales strategy and go-to-market plan.
  • Build out sales infrastructure, including defining and applying processes, creating playbooks, implementing KPIs.
  • Assist sales team members in closing deals.
  • Manage and motivate sales staff, including creating a positive and results oriented sales culture.
  • Monitor and manage sales performance.
  • Help with sourcing, interviewing and selecting further team members.
  • Train new sales team members.
  • Represent ZL Technologies at industry trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, and other events.
  • Participate in sales meetings with strategic prospects and accounts.
  • Own the sales number for your teams.

Requirements:

  • A substantial and successful track record in an IT field sales leadership role for a vendor of data management or related complex software solutions.
  • Some background in growing sales teams and managing sales teams in a high growth environment.
  • Experience selling complex IT solutions to large enterprise, including banking and other financial services.
  • A good understanding of enterprise IT concepts and processes.
  • The gravitas needed to engage and build relationships with contacts of all seniority levels up to C-level within very large organisations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivation and resilience.
  • A creative and results-oriented mindset.
