ZL Tech is seeking a high-calibre field salesperson to present and sell ZL software solutions and services to new prospect federal agencies. This is a new business, “hunting” role.
- Identify and contact key-decision-makers within targeted new-logo organisations.
- Engage in phone, social media and in-person contact activity with identified individuals, with a view to selling ZL solutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with key client contacts.
- Develop a holistic understanding of customers’ business needs and be able to talk with authority about the integral value ZL products provide, specific to each client.
- Continue to expand relationships within won accounts, in order to identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
- Represent ZL Technologies at industry trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, and other events.
- Work cross-functionally with ZL and customer teams to ensure timely and successful project completion.
- A substantial and successful track record of sales in an IT field sales role.
- Experience selling complex IT solutions to similar prospect accounts in the same region.
- A good understanding of enterprise IT concepts and processes.
- The ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical contacts.
- The gravitas needed to engage and build relationships with contacts of all seniority levels up to C-level within very large organisations.
