Project Manager II

Responsibilities:

  • Creation of status reports with exec summaries
  • Ability to foster an inclusive, caring and supportive environment while meeting time line expectations
  • Serve as a dedicated Project Manager and primary point of contact for clients on assigned engagements
  • Act as the primary liaison for a client-facing engagement both internally and externally, providing clear communication among all stakeholders to ensure everyone stays informed and operates with the latest information
  • Facilitate a project from defining the scope to transitioning to support and escalate issues appropriately
  • Develop project plans with critical path, milestones, timelines and identify issues and mitigating risks for migrations, upgrades, deployments, and custom engagement work
  • Develop reoccurring project tasks and templatizing runbooks for similar future engagements
  • Ensure the project adheres to defined scope and timeline
  • Identify risks and potential delays, and escalate timely if needed
  • Manage work being performed by project team, ensuring deliverables meet communicated timelines
  • Coordinate meetings, track action items and create relevant documentation necessary to complete a project

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Open, clear, concise, and professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to create executive summaries, with clear objectives, risks, status, next steps
  • Personable and able to work with stakeholders from various sources, including clients, vendors, partners, and internal resources from multiple functions, such as DEV, Professional Services, and Support
  • Organized and able to conduct independent work
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • A good understanding or interest in information governance or enterprise software
  • Ability to set internal goals and timelines and execute to a defined action plan
  • Able to work well both in a team environment and as a motivated individual
  • 2 – 4 years relevant experience (salary is commensurate with experience)

Preferred:

  • 2-4 years of project management experiences, preferably in the technology industry
  • Experience with professional writing
  • Experience using standard Project Management tools (e.g. Outlook, MS Office, MS Project, Atlassian suite)
  • Experience in enterprise technology solutions
  • An understanding of technical concepts around data management
  • Preferred location is Milpitas, CA and Vancouver BC. We may consider remote working on a per-case basis
