ZL Technologies Ensures Interoperability with Hitachi Content Archive Platform, the Digital Archiving Platform for the 21st Century
SAN JOSE, CA – January 26, 2007 - ZipLip today announced that it has joined the Hitachi Data Systems independent software vendor (ISV) partner program. The program announced today by Hitachi Data Systems, provider of Application Optimized Storage™ solutions and a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd. (NYSE: HIT), delivers key services to companies that develop software that is interoperable with Hitachi storage solutions.
Hitachi Data Systems and ZipLip are working together to provide customers an active archive solution that has been tested, validated and managed to ensure that the customer environment and its business critical data, is secure and protected for the long-term. The ZipLip Unified Email Archival Suite is a fully scalable, highly flexible, and integrated archiving solution with modular functionality that enables organizations of all sizes to meet compliance, E-Discovery, storage optimization, and email encryption requirements. The ZipLip solution is compatible with Lotus Notes, Microsoft Exchange, and mixed environments.
The Hitachi Content Archive Platform is an active archive solution comprised of both software and hardware, which supports policy-based integration from many distributed or centralized repositories such as email, file systems, databases, applications and content or document management systems. The Hitachi Content Archive Platform ensures the secure archival-quality retention, preservation or verifiable destruction of content. Through the use of the Hitachi Content Archive Platform, users can leverage a set of common services such as centralized search, policy-based retention, authentication and protection.
