カン・リョング
Kon Leong

共同創設者、最高経営責任者兼代表取締役社長

戦略、ファイナンス、営業、およびマーケティングを含む事業経営のあらゆる分野に関わり責任を負っている。Burroughs 社、Philips 社、Union Bank 社において8年間 IT 部門のエンジニアと管理職としての経験を積む。その後、ニューヨークでGeneral Motors 社の財務部に勤務し、同社のハイテク企業向けベンチャー投資を担当。その後はDeutsche Morgan Grenfell 社でM&A 部門のシニア・バイス・プレジデントを務めた。ZL テクノロジーズ創設前には、高速ネットワークスイッチを製造する GigaLabs 社を共同創設し、取締役社長を務めていた。

インド工科大学で1年間勉強した後、コンコルディア大学(ロヨラキャンパス)でコンピュータサイエンスの学士号を取得。その後ペンシルベニア大学ウォートン・スクールの最優秀成績でMBA を取得した。

アービンド・スリニバサン博士
Dr. Arvind Srinivasan

共同創設者、CTO

ZL テクノロジーズのあらゆる技術、製品開発に関わり責任を負っている。NASAにおける組み込みコントローラ用のリアルタイムアプリケーションの開発、Interbold 社でのファジィ論理を使った通貨認識システムの開発経験を得て、Neural Applications 社で在庫追跡・ポートフォリオ管理用のJava ベースのウェブアプリケーション、NetProphet の共同開発に従事。その後Ernst and Young 社の Papyrus Technologies 部門で同社のウェブベースのワークフローアプリケーション、動産税情報システムをデザイン、開発した。ZL テクノロジーズを創設する前には、Liberate Technologies 社でプロジェクト・リーダーとしてウェブメールおよびメッセージのアプリケーションのデザインと実施に携わっていた。

通算20年間のソフトウェア開発経験の中で、25件以上の出版物を共同執筆。インド工科大学で学士号を取得後、アクロン大学で2つの修士号とニューラルネットワークの博士号を取得した。

テリー・ウェルティ
Terry Welty

マーケティング担当バイスプレジデント

マーケティング全般の責任を負っている。起業家が興したスタートアップからベンチャーキャピタルの出資による新興企業、そしてグローバルな大企業でのマーケティングに至るまで多彩な経験を持ち、経験豊かな視点をもたらす。通算27年のキャリアの中で、初期・中期段階の多数の企業をその業界のリーディングカンパニーにした功績がある。中でもエンタープライズパブリッシングソフトウェア会社のArbortextとデマンドチェーン管理ソリューション会社のHAHT Commerceでマーケティング担当バイスプレジデントとして活躍した。それ以前は、デスクトップパブリッシングソフトウェア会社のクオークでマーケティングを担当した。

テキサス工科大学でマーケティングの学士号を修了した後、ベイラー大学で国際経営学MBAを取得している。

Charles F. Christ

Charles advises ZL Technologies on corporate strategy. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of Maxtor Corporation since August 1995 (subsequently acquired by Seagate) and served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of MaxOptix Corporation from October 1998 to July 2001. He has also served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dot Hill Systems Corp. since July 2000, and board director at Agilysys, formerly Pioneer-Standard Electronics, Inc. since July 1997. Previously, Mr. Christ was President, Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors of Symbios, Inc. from 1997 to August 1998, until it was acquired by LSI Logic. From 1994 to 1997, Mr. Christ was Vice President and General Manager of the Components Division of Digital Equipment Corporation. Mr. Christ received an MBA from Harvard Business School and completed his undergraduate studies at General Motors Institute, now known as Kettering University.

Gerri Elliott

Gerri Elliott is Juniper Network’s Executive Vice President of Strategic Alliances, where she is responsible for deepening and developing key partnerships and alliances. From 2004 to 2009, Gerri was corporate vice president of Microsoft’s Worldwide Public Sector organization. Under her leadership, Elliott improved customer satisfaction and Microsoft’s image among government elites, grew share across all product lines, and increased revenues from $4.7B in 2004 to $8B in 2008. Building on a long-standing commitment to provide genuine business value to customers, Elliott also led the World Class Selling initiative across the entire company. Gerri joined Microsoft in September 2001 after 22-year tenure at IBM, where she held several senior executive and management positions in strategy development, services and consulting, product management and sales field and headquarter leadership.

Gerri holds a bachelor’s degree in international politics from New York University and participated in the Center for Executive Women Senior Leadership Program at the Kellogg School of Management, where she serves on their advisory board.

Lawrence Calof

Lawrence Calof is a retired partner at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, one of the nation’s largest law firms. Mr. Calof’s practice focused on mergers and acquisitions representing both strategic and financial buyers and sellers. He also had extensive experience in licensing and other high-technology issues, public offerings of debt and equity securities and venture capital investments in private companies. Mr. Calof graduated from Stanford Law School in 1969, where he was a member of the Stanford Law Review. He joined the firm in 1970 after serving as a law clerk to the Honorable William P. Gray, a Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Mr. Calof became a partner of the firm in 1977. Mr. Calof founded the firm’s first Northern California offices in San Jose, Palo Alto and San Francisco and served as the managing partner of the Northern California office until 1995. Mr. Calof has been a director of several companies and has been on a number of panels at business and legal conferences. From 1982 through 1985, Mr. Calof was a partner of Catalyst Technologies, a Silicon Valley high-technology incubator for start-up companies. Mr. Calof is a member of the California Bar.

Pamela Kline

Pamela advises ZL Technologies on marketing and business strategy. She is currently VP of Marketing at LiveOps, a call-center solutions provider. She is a seasoned technology marketing professional with over 20 years experience that encompasses creating new marketing categories and helping companies take advantage of market changes. Most recently, she served as the Vice President of Marketing for Metreo, Inc., a leading supplier of pricing software, which was acquired by Symphony Technology Group. Previously, she was Vice President of Marketing for Arcot Systems, Inc., a provider of authentication security solutions. Pam was a Partner at Regis McKenna, Inc/The McKenna Group for 10 years where she led the teams responsible for defining e-business for IBM, creating the first online travel solutions for United Airlines, USAirways, British Airways and Galileo, launching several successful start-ups and taking companies such as Rightpoint and Eloquent through successful acquisitions. She has addressed several worldwide industry conferences on marketing issues and is a recipient of the YWCA’s Tribute to Woman and Industry Award. Pam holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in French magna cum laude from Harvard College and a MBA from Harvard Business School as well as having attended the University of Paris – Sorbonne.

Dr. Carolyn Turbyfill

Carolyn Turbyfill advises ZL Technologies on security and system scalability. She is currently Vice President of R&D at Revive Systems and has 20 years of engineering management and product development experience for start-up technology companies and turnarounds. She was Vice President of Engineering at Immunix (acquired by Novell) and Vice President of Engineering for Counterpane Internet Security (acquired by British Telecom). Prior to that, she was Vice President of Engineering and Operations at First Virtual Holdings, where she managed service operations and development. She then served as Vice President of R&D at PGP, a pioneer in secure e-mail communications. Carolyn spent 8 years with Sun Microsystems, much of that time with Sun’s Internet Commerce Group focusing on security products such as firewalls. Carolyn received her Ph.D. in Computer Science from Cornell University where she wrote numerous publications and articles on database systems and performance benchmarking.
